Lot 283: Wade Ceramic Castella Cigar Advertising Ashtray

A Wade ceramic promotional ashtray for Castella Cigars. The oval-shaped piece features a deep well with a white glazed interior and a red glazed exterior. The rim is decorated with a gilt border and printed text reading Enjoy a CASTELLA cigar in black serif lettering, with CASTELLA appearing in white within a red rectangular block. The opposite rim features the red CASTELLA brand logo. The underside includes three circular molded recesses for feet, two of which contain original translucent rubber pads.
