Lot 284: A Collection of Fourteen Vintage and Antique Metal Tools Including Surgical and Barbering Instruments

An assortment of fourteen metal tools and instruments, comprising surgical, tailoring, and domestic items. The collection includes several pairs of forceps and hemostats, with one pair marked for Chas. F. Thackray of Leeds, England. Also present is a pair of spring-action nippers. The selection of shears and scissors features a large pair of tailor’s shears with black-enamelled handles, a pair of dressmaking shears with green-painted handles, and a multi-purpose kitchen tool incorporating a bottle opener and serrated grip. Additional household and embroidery scissors are included. Grooming items consist of a folding straight razor with black scales and a specialist hair-cutting tool marked Hair Magician. The items are constructed from carbon steel and stainless steel.
