Lot 309: A Pair of Antique Clear Glass Apothecary Bottles

A pair of antique clear glass apothecary shelf bottles of rectangular form with rounded corners. Each bottle is fitted with a corresponding T-shaped ground glass stopper. The bottles feature acid-etched labels in capital letters. The smaller bottle is labelled ACID NIT. HYD. DIL., for Acidum Nitro-hydrochloricum Dilutum. The larger bottle is labelled INF. CINCHON. CONC. 1 7, for Infusum Cinchonae Concentratum. These items are characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century pharmaceutical ware.
