Lot 318: WWII British Military No 43 Mk I S Sighting Telescope 1944

A British military sighting telescope, model No 43 Mk I S, manufactured by A. Kershaw and Sons in 1944. The instrument features a tapered steel tube body with a machined metal optic housing. The housing is equipped with two serrated adjustment knobs for elevation and windage, and includes an integrated rectangular mounting block. The objective and eyepiece lenses are secured within threaded metal rings. The housing bears stamped and white-infilled markings reading: No 43 x 3 L, MK I S., A.K. and S. 1944, O.S. 1139 G.A., No 1316, and the British Broad Arrow property mark.
