Lot 330: A three-piece Victorian Deykin and Sons silver-plated tea and coffee service

A three-piece silver-plated service by Deykin and Sons, pattern number 9483. The set comprises a coffee pot, a teapot, and a twin-handled sugar bowl. Each piece is of straight-sided, tapered form, featuring engraved foliate scrolls and palmettes surrounding a vacant shield cartouche to both sides. The pots are fitted with hinged, domed lids topped with small finials and C-scroll handles with heat insulators. The sugar bowl features matching twin C-scroll handles. The base of each piece is stamped with the maker’s mark and pattern number.
