Lot 331: Two Beswick Glazed Ceramic Animal Figurines comprising a Hereford Calf and a Collie
Produced by Beswick of England, these two glazed ceramic animal figurines are realistically modelled. The Hereford calf is finished in a mahogany brown and white glaze with tan hooves, and features a black circular backstamp to the underbelly reading BESWICK ENGLAND. The collie is finished in a glossy black and white glaze, marked to the underside with an impressed BESWICK ENGLAND stamp accented in tan. Both figures possess small firing holes as part of the manufacturing process.
