Lot 38: A 9 Carat Gold Amethyst Dress Ring gross circa 1.83g

A 9 carat yellow gold dress ring featuring a single oval-cut amethyst. The purple gemstone is held in a six-claw setting. The setting is positioned above a decorative openwork gallery with scroll and foliate motifs. The interior of the band is stamped with a mark comprising two joined diamond shapes containing the letters D and J. Further marks on the inner shank include the numerals 375 within a clipped rectangular cartouche and a circular mark containing a symbol.
