A vintage lithographed tinplate toy world globe, dating to the mid-1960s based on the included cartography. The piece features a rotating tinplate sphere mounted on a cream-coloured plastic meridian, supported by a circular tinplate base. The globe surface includes geopolitical entries such as Zambia, Tanzania, and Bechuanaland Prot. The base is decorated with fifteen lithographed national flags, with printed text below each identifying the South African Republic, United States of America, Portugal, Finland, Pakistan, Australia, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, India, Canada, Nigeria, Norway, and the Fed. of Malaya. Canada is represented by the Red Ensign flag. No manufacturer names, logos, or country-of-origin marks are visible on the globe or the base.
