Lot 476: Three Royal Doulton fine bone china figurines including A Winter's Morn, Helen, and Jessica
A collection of three Royal Doulton fine bone china figurines. The first piece is titled A Winter’s Morn, model number HN4622, sculpted by J. Bromley. This is a limited edition figurine, numbered 9466 of 15,000, and was produced for the Classics series and Compton and Woodhouse. It features a woman in a white winter coat with gold-toned fastenings, a fur-effect hat, and a matching muff. The second piece is titled Helen, model number HN3601, modelled by Nada M. Pedley and dated 1993. The figure wears a full-skirted blue gown with white lace-effect detailing and carries a basket of yellow roses. The third piece is titled Jessica, model number HN3850, and was the Figure of the Year for 1997, modelled by Nada M. Pedley. This piece features markings commemorating the 1897-1997 centenary and depicts a woman in a purple and white gown with a green bodice, a single pink rose accent, and a pearl-style necklace. All three figurines bear the Royal Doulton backstamp on the base along with their respective model names and numbers.
