Lot 50D: A Smiths Everest Automatic wristwatch with box and paperwork

A Smiths Everest Automatic wristwatch, the circular silvered sunburst dial featuring applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock with baton markers for the remaining hours. The dial is printed SMITHS EVEREST AUTOMATIC, with the model name in red, and 25 JEWELS SHOCKPROOF above 6 o’clock, with MADE IN ENGLAND at the base. The gold-plated case is fitted with dauphine hands and a central sweep seconds hand, set to a black leather strap with a pin buckle. The watch features a stainless steel screw-down case back.
