Lot 510: A Pressed Uranium Glass Vase with Moulded Floral Decoration 31cm tall

A pressed uranium glass vase of square-section form, produced in a pale canary yellow colour. The body is decorated with a relief-moulded pattern featuring a central stylized floral or snowflake-like medallion on each face, from which beaded lines radiate towards the corners and edges. The shoulder tapers into a vertically ribbed neck ending in a plain rim. Under ultraviolet light, the glass exhibits a vivid green fluorescence, indicating the presence of uranium oxide in the glass composition. The glass contains small dark carbon inclusions trapped within the material near the rim and neck area. No marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces shown.
