Lot 511: A multi-coloured sommerso art glass handkerchief vase 21cm H

A hand-blown art glass vase featuring an undulating, four-lobed handkerchief-style rim. The body is constructed from thick clear glass using the sommerso technique to encase vibrant internal layers of yellow, royal blue, crimson red, and orange glass. These colours are arranged in bold, overlapping bands. The form tapers down to a solid, square-cut base which has been flat-ground and polished. The base shows no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or labels.
