Lot 515: A mid-century sommerso art glass bowl in plum and clear 23x12cm

A thick-walled mid-century art glass bowl executed in the sommerso technique. The bowl features a deep plum-coloured interior core encased within a heavy layer of clear glass. It has an asymmetric, tri-cornered oval form with a biomorphic silhouette. The piece is finished with a smooth polished rim and a flat, circular ground and polished base. The base exhibits light surface reflections and scratches but bears no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels.
