Lot 523: L.S. Lowry, Coming from the Mill, a framed print

A framed offset lithograph reproduction of Laurence Stephen Lowry’s 1930 painting Coming from the Mill. The scene depicts a busy industrial courtyard and street populated by numerous figures in the artist’s characteristic style, set against a backdrop of factory chimneys and large industrial buildings. The work bears a printed signature and date in the lower left corner reading L.S.LOWRY, 1930. The print is presented in a dark brown mat and a brushed aluminium frame under glass. The reverse features a brown backing board with a hanging wire attached to metal loops.
