Buyer's Premium:

A collection of vintage metalware and glassware items. The group features a cut-glass claret jug with silver-plated mountings, featuring a hinged lid with a ball finial and a cast foliate handle. The glass body is decorated with star and diamond patterns. A pair of silver-plated trumpet vases have fluted bodies and flared, scalloped rims, standing on weighted circular bases with gadrooned decoration. The assortment includes two silver-plated jugs, one with a heat-insulated composite handle and the other with a simple metal handle. A pair of brass candlesticks are designed in a column style on tiered square bases, accompanied by a round brass canister with foliate engraving. Additional items include a silver-plated tea caddy with a pull-off cap, a sugar shaker with a pierced domed lid, and a small silver-plated sauce boat on three feet. The sauce boat is stamped with the letters EPNS and five distinct symbols in shaped punches, including a character C, a stylized character R, a star, and an animal head. Significant wear to the silver plating is evident on several pieces, particularly the jugs and tea caddy, where the yellow-toned base metal is visible. Based on the scale provided by a pen, the vases are approximately 18 to 20 centimetres high and the claret jug measures approximately 25 centimetres in height.
