Lot 539: Three vintage white metal transport model vehicle kits by Black Country Models, Eames, and Langley Miniature Models

A trio of vintage boxed white metal model vehicle kits in 4mm scale and OO gauge. The first is a Black Country Models Midland Red Single Deck Bus S6 No. 2 kit produced by Varney. The black card box is printed in white with an oval illustration of a bus featuring Midland on the side and the text BLACK COUNTRY MODELS BY VARNEY ENGLAND. The second is a Model Transport 1927 Maudslay ML 3 bus kit with Buckingham Body, designed by Alan Brackenborough. The yellow paper sleeve is printed with the model name, 4mm Scale, and the manufacturer name EAMES (Reading) LIMITED. It features a green adhesive retailer label reading FROUDE & HEXT SWINDON TEL. 22098 with a handwritten price of 4-32. The end flap is printed EAMES 1927 MAUDSLAY ML 3 with handwritten characters MGW in green ink. The kit consists of white metal cast components and precoloured plastic sides. The third is a Langley Miniature Models Guy Otter/Luton Body Lorry kit in OO-gauge. The white box features a pink paper label printed with the manufacturer name and reference VO/GO/V. A yellow adhesive price sticker reads BOYDELLS M£3.60. The end flap repeats the text LANGLEY MINIATURE MODELS REF. VO/GO/V 00-GAUGE GUY OTTER/LUTON BODY. All kits are unbuilt and presented in original retail packaging.
