Lot 541: A Trio of Vintage White Metal Model Kits by BEC Tram Kits and A. Brackenborough

A trio of vintage 4mm scale model vehicle kits of cast white metal construction. The collection comprises two BEC Tram Kits from Series 2 and one Brackenborough road vehicle kit. The first tram kit is No. 2 Enclosed Top Car, intended for LCC and Bexley liveries. The original cardboard box features a white paper label with the maker name BEC TRAM KITS SERIES 2 and lists manufacturer addresses at PO Box 5 Aldershot Hants GU12 6JP and 10a Tooting Bec Road London SW17 8BD. The second tram kit is No. 3 Snowbroom, for LCC and London Transport, bearing identical labelling and manufacturer address details. The third item is a Brackenborough 4mm Scale Model Road Vehicle Kit for an Orion with 27 foot Rear-Door Body by MCW 1954 Version. This kit is wrapped in a temporary paper label identifying the manufacturer as EAMES(Reading) Ltd. 24 Tudor Road Reading RG1 1NH. The kits are designed to be built for OO gauge layouts.
