Lot 574: A Marksman Repeater air pistol

A Marksman Repeater spring-piston air pistol of die-cast metal construction. The pistol features a top-slide cocking action and integrated checkered grip panels, styled after a semi-automatic handgun. The left side of the slide bears an embossed mark within an oval reading MARKSMAN REPEATER. The right side of the frame is impressed with characters reading PAT PENDING MADE IN LOS ANGELES 25, CALIF. U.S.A. A manual sliding safety catch is present on the frame, with positions marked ON and OFF. The inclusion of the 25 postal zone indicates a production date prior to 1963.
