Lot 607: Two vintage lighted bar advertising displays for Carling Black Label Lager and Piper Best Scotch

A lot comprising two vintage mid-20th-century lighted advertising displays. The first display is constructed from molded clear plastic designed to simulate a block of ice, promoting Carling Black Label Lager. It features two red adhesive labels; the upper label is printed with CARLING Black Label LAGER and the lower label is printed with The Worlds Leading International Lager. An internal white plastic diffuser is visible through the damaged rear section. The second display is a vertical four-sided lantern for Piper Best Scotch. The unit consists of a gold-toned plastic frame with translucent plastic panels on three sides, each bearing a red and black illustration of a bagpiper below the text PIPER and above BEST SCOTCH. The rear panel is black plastic featuring printed white text including PIPER BEST SCOTCH followed by CLEANING and WARNING sections regarding bulb usage and maintenance. A white electrical cord is attached to each unit.
