Lot 618: A Collection of Vintage Cameras including Pentacon F Praktica MTL 3 Conway and Ensign Models
A collection of four vintage cameras comprising two 35mm single-lens reflex SLR cameras and two medium-format box cameras.
The Pentacon F 35mm SLR camera features a metal chassis with a textured black grip and silver-tone plates. The body is marked with the name Pentacon F and a tower emblem. It is fitted with a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 lens, the front ring of which is marked Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 and numbered 4935009. The camera is accompanied by a brown leather ever-ready case and a separate brown canvas and leather lens or accessory case.
A Praktica MTL 3 35mm SLR camera is constructed of metal and plastic with a black waffle-textured grip. The front is marked PRAKTICA and MTL 3. The lens is fitted with a black textured cap and a filter marked Vivitar SKYLIGHT (1A) 49mm. It is housed in a black leather or vinyl ever-ready case with a red velvet-effect lining and a black fabric neck strap bearing the printed name M. B. FREAP.
The Conway De Luxe Model medium-format box camera is constructed from metal and plastic with a decorative Art Deco-style chrome faceplate.
