Lot 630: A gold-filled hunter pocket watch by the Dennison Watch Case Co

A gold-filled hunter pocket watch. The timepiece features a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and a railroad-style outer minute track. A subsidiary seconds dial is located at the 6 o’clock position, marked with Arabic numerals. The watch is fitted with blued steel spade and whip hands. The hunter-style case is gold-filled, featuring a fluted crown at the 12 o’clock position. The interior of the case back is impressed with an uppercase mark reading STAR, positioned above a circular arrangement of characters reading DENNISON WATCH CASE CO. The serial number 659624 is impressed towards the outer edge of the case back interior. The watch features a manual wind movement.
