Lot 631: A Danbury Mint Manchester City F.C. 2011-12 Premier League Winners Limited Edition Chronograph Wristwatch

This two-tone stainless steel chronograph wristwatch was produced by Danbury Mint to mark Manchester City F.C. winning the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League. The timepiece features a white dial with three light blue sub-dials printed with the text Barclays Premier League, Winners 2011-12, and a depiction of the trophy. The club crest is positioned at 12 o’clock above the motto Superbia In Proelio. It includes a date window at the 4:30 position and is fitted with a rotating bezel and three gold-tone crowns. The bracelet is constructed from silver-tone stainless steel with gold-tone central links. The watch is housed in its original black presentation case, the interior lid of which is marked with Danbury Mint in white script. It is accompanied by an instruction booklet and a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate states the watch is one of a limited edition of 2,012 pieces and bears a printed signature of Robert Olswang, Director, Danbury Mint.
