Lot 635: A Scheurich-Keramik West German pottery vase model 291-38

A West German earthenware vase of ovoid form with a short neck and flared rim. The exterior is finished with a mottled ochre-brown glaze featuring a repeating raised geometric relief pattern in a thick cream-coloured glaze. The interior is coated in a dark brown gloss glaze. The base of the piece features an impressed mark consisting of scheurich-KERAMIK in an arc, the model and height numbers 291-38, and the country of origin W.GERMANY.
