Lot 653: A Westfield single-cutaway electric guitar with goldtop finish and a Gibson hardshell case

A single-cutaway electric guitar of set-neck construction. The headstock bears a gold-tone script logo reading Westfield. The arched body features a metallic goldtop finish to the front with cream-coloured binding, while the reverse and sides are finished in a translucent dark cherry. The bound rosewood fingerboard is decorated with abalone-effect block inlays. Hardware is gold-plated throughout, comprising six closed-gear tuners, a tune-o-matic bridge, and a stop-bar tailpiece. A cream plastic pick holder is adhered to the reverse of the headstock. Electronics include two humbucking pickups with gold-plated covers, with the bridge pickup cover stamped SUPER. Controls consist of a three-way toggle switch and four black plastic speed knobs. The guitar is presented in a black contoured hardshell case with silver-tone latches, the exterior bearing a gold-tone Gibson logo.
