Lot 671: Art Deco moulded frosted glass hanging flycatcher light shade with floral transfer decoration and three-chain suspension

An Art Deco period hanging ceiling light shade of shallow bowl form produced from frosted satin glass. The central underside features a moulded geometric web pattern while the wide rim is decorated with moulded spiral motifs highlighted in pale blue. A decorative horizontal band of polychrome floral transfers encircles the shoulder of the bowl featuring repeating daisies and sunflowers in shades of yellow, orange, blue, and purple-brown. The shade is suspended by three dark-toned metal chains secured with bolts through the glass rim. The interior of the bowl is finished in plain white. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the glass or the metal hardware. This item is a non-electrified component and does not include a lampholder, wiring, or ceiling rose.
