A wingback armchair upholstered in oxblood red leather. The chair features a deep-buttoned tufted backrest and wings, with rolled armrests. It is decorated with brass-toned nailhead trim outlining the wings, arms, and lower seat rail. The piece is supported on two front cabriole legs and two splayed rear legs, finished in a dark stain. The seat cushion is removable and features a piped border. The overall design incorporates the classic Chesterfield tufting technique. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior or underside of the piece.
