Lot 687: Bryan Senior and British School, A Trio of contemporary Framed Watercolours
A trio of framed watercolours on paper, primarily depicting British coastal and village landscapes. The first work is an illustrational depiction of a row of stone cottages, hand-lettered on the mount THE “MOORCOCK INN”, LANGDALE END. It is signed in the lower right Bryan Senior. The piece is set within a light wood frame. The second watercolour depicts a coastal landscape with a long stone breakwater and several beached rowing boats on the sand before a distant town skyline with a church spire. It is housed in a gilt frame with a cream mount. The lower corners contain inscriptions that are not clearly legible. The third work is a harbour scene showing a curved stone pier with small boats and buildings on a distant hillside. It is set in a dark wood frame with a gilt slip and a cream mount featuring a dark green inner border. There are faint, illegible markings to the lower right corner.
