Lot 688: A vintage Malport men's fur-trimmed parka coat with red quilted lining
A vintage thigh-length men’s utility parka coat by Malport, featuring an olive green cotton drill outer shell and a contrasting bright red diamond-quilted lining. The garment includes a large integrated hood trimmed with natural-coloured fur. The construction features a heavy-duty metal zip front closure, concealed by a button-down storm flap. The front is detailed with two slanted chest pockets featuring snap-button flaps and two lower waist pockets. Adjustability is provided by internal drawstrings at the hood, waist, and hem, finished with plastic toggles. An inner neck woven black label with a red border displays a vertical silver textured block containing the letters M, P, and D to the left of Malport in gold script, with a registered trademark symbol ® and a small five-pointed star below. A white fabric care tag below reads THIS GARMENT MUST NOT BE DRY-CLEANED and SPONGE ONLY WITH A DAMP CLOTH in black block letters. A small white tab below the care label is printed with XL in red.
