Lot 695: A collection of fifteen vintage costume jewellery brooches

A collection of fifteen costume jewellery brooches of various designs, presented in a glazed frame. The top row includes a gold-tone ribbon spray pavé-set with clear stones and a central faux pearl; an abstract brooch in silver-tone metal with a hammered finish; a polished silver-tone brooch in the form of a hand; a gold-tone floral brooch with a flower and bud each set with a faux pearl; and a silver-tone floral spray set with iridescent pink stones, featuring a central oval plaque inscribed Mother in script.

The middle row comprises a circular pewter-tone medallion embossed with a mountain and tent motif, featuring the numbers 2925 at the top and the word РУСЛАН in Cyrillic characters at the base; a quatrefoil brooch set with pear-shaped smoky stones and small pink and clear stones; a gold-tone wreath brooch set with purple, blue, and teal stones, incorporating crescent moon motifs; a gold-tone starburst brooch with a central star pavé-set with clear stones; and a circular gold-tone openwork brooch decorated with purple and pink floral enamel.

The bottom row consists of a gold-tone pomegranate brooch set with red stones and red enamel; a stylized gold-tone leaf spray; a gold-tone dragonfly brooch with four wings inlaid with paua shell, presented on its original blue backing card printed with the brand name ARIKI; a silver-tone kris dagger brooch featuring an etched blade with two Wayang shadow puppet figures; and a gold-tone butterfly brooch with multi-coloured wings.
