Lot 701: A pair of Neo-Classical style Corinthian column table lamps
A pair of table lamps designed in the Neo-Classical style. Each lamp features a clear fluted column, likely glass or acrylic, positioned between a cast metal Corinthian capital and a square plinth base with scrolled feet. The metal components are finished in an antiqued gold tone with a distressed surface. The lamps are fitted with hexagonal bell-shaped fabric shades in a cream colour, featuring a textured foliate damask pattern and ribbon trim. Each lamp is wired with white electrical flex, an inline thumb switch, and a standard UK three-pin plug. The white cable is printed with the characters H03VVH2-F. A small white adhesive label is attached to the cord of one lamp, though the printed text is not legible (Image 2). There are no maker signatures or manufacturer labels visible on the bodies or bases of the lamps.
