A collection of British and international coinage spanning the 19th and 20th centuries. The British component features pre-decimal currency across several reigns including Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. Notable silver issues include King George V shillings and sixpences with obverse legends reading GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: and GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX, alongside Queen Victoria silver threepences inscribed VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:. The lot includes three commemorative items: a souvenir medal for the 1981 Royal Wedding in a red plastic case, a medal in a blue case printed TSB and TRUSTEE SAVINGS BANK, and a 1980 commemorative crown in a black pouch marked Midland Bank.
