Lot 745: Vintage James H. Porter double-sided wooden pub menu chalkboard

A vintage double-sided wooden pub menu chalkboard branded for James H. Porter. The arched dark-stained wooden frame houses two distinct display sides. Both sides feature the brand name JAMES H. PORTER in orange-yellow serif lettering with red shadowing at the top. The first side has a dark green painted surround with a large central recessed black chalkboard area. The second side has a mustard-yellow painted surround; the upper portion is printed with the heading CHILLED BEERS above a column for Abv % and a list including Budweiser, Holsten Pils, Diamond White, Becks, Castaway, Newcastle Brown Ale, and Kaliber. Below this list is a smaller recessed black chalkboard area. Four black-painted metal floral rosettes are fixed to the corners of the inner panels on each side, fitted with small black hooks.
