Lot 747: Two bottles of blended Scotch whisky comprising Bell's Millennium 2000 Aged 8 Years and John Haig and Co. Dimple

This lot comprises two bottles of blended Scotch whisky, each presented in its original packaging. The first is a Bell’s Millennium 2000 commemorative release, produced by Arthur Bell and Sons. The 70cl tapered glass decanter features a silver-toned stopper and etched text detailing significant dates in Scotch whisky history, including 1494, 1825, and 1994, along with the phrase water of life. The bottle is stated as aged 8 years in oak with an alcoholic strength of 40% vol. It is housed in a cream-coloured cardboard presentation box with a clear plastic display window, printed with Bell’s Extra Special Millennium 2000.

The second item is a bottle of Dimple Old Blended Scotch Whisky from John Haig and Co. Ltd. of Markinch, Scotland. The iconic three-sided glass bottle is printed with Dimple in white lettering and contains 75 centilitres at an alcoholic strength of 43 degrees. The paper label includes a Royal Warrant coat of arms and text reading By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen Purveyors of Scotch Whisky. The bottle is sealed with a gold-toned screw cap and is accompanied by a gold-coloured cardboard presentation box featuring a photographic image of the bottle.
