A Mamod TE1a live steam traction engine constructed from painted tinplate, steel, and cast metal components. The scale model features a horizontal green-painted boiler, a black firebox, and a white-painted canopy supported by steel rods. The mechanical assembly includes a single-acting oscillating cylinder and a heavy metal flywheel, with the unit mounted on four red-spoked wheels. The front of the boiler features a circular cast metal plate with raised lettering reading MAMOD to the top and TE1A to the bottom. The lot includes a separate spirit burner tray with a mesh top and a wire handle. The steering rod and coiled spring drive belt are absent.
