Lot 146: Alexander Millar Moonlight Shenanigans Signed Limited Edition Silkscreen Print

A limited edition silkscreen on paper titled Moonlight Shenanigans by Alexander Millar. The atmospheric work depicts two figures in an embrace under a large black umbrella, set against a muted blue and grey background with a pale moon. The scene is executed with textured, expressive marks characteristic of the artist’s style. The paper features a deckled edge and is mounted within a modern black and silver-toned stepped frame behind glass. The lower right corner of the print is hand-signed in black ink Alexander Millar.

Attached to the reverse is a Certificate of Authenticity from Washington Green Fine Art. It identifies the work as a silkscreen on paper released in April 2004 with a UK edition size of 295. The certificate is hand-signed Alexander Millar and bears a circular printed mark for Washington Green Fine Art Publishing Company Ltd. The verso also features a black stamped mark for Wallsend Picture-Framing Centre, High Street East, including a telephone number.
