Lot 299: An Assortment of Eleven Antique and Vintage Glass Bottles including Poison and Advertising Examples

A collection of eleven glass bottles of various forms and colours, characteristic of late 19th and early 20th-century British apothecary and household use. The group includes a deep cobalt blue bottle of rounded cylindrical form with a short neck and flared rim. There are six clear glass apothecary bottles of uniform cylindrical shape, each featuring a flat flared rim. A rectangular bright green glass bottle features vertical ribbing to three sides and bears embossed text reading NOT TO BE TAKEN. The collection also contains a tall rectangular light aqua glass bottle embossed with EIFFEL TOWER LEMONADE. Completing the set are two small hexagonal bottles with vertical ribbing, one in amber glass and one in dark green glass.
