Lot 302: A group of four antique clear glass apothecary bottles with ground glass stoppers

A group of four antique clear glass pharmacy or apothecary shop bottles of varying sizes. Each bottle is of rectangular moulded form with rounded shoulders and a ground glass neck. Every bottle retains its original fitted ground glass stopper with a rectangular grip. The fronts of the bottles are decorated with fired-on enamel lettering in black or dark brown. The largest bottle is inscribed ACID SULPH. DIL. One bottle bears the inscription SALOL. A third bottle is marked ANTIPYRIN. The final bottle features the inscription TR. CAPSICI. The glass is clear and shows signs of moulded manufacture.
