The vessel is fitted with its matching ground glass stopper, which has a square-cut vertical finial. The bottle body features a recessed, curved glass lug label applied to the front. This label has a white background with a hand-painted black and gold-toned border, bearing the hand-painted black text T. CHLOROF: CO. in a serif font, an abbreviation for Tinctura Chloroformi Composita (Compound Tincture of Chloroform). The construction includes a slight internal kickup at the base.
