A collection of seven vintage and antique glass beverage bottles, primarily sourced from the North East of England, featuring various shapes and embossing. The lot includes a clear glass faceted siphon bottle with an acid-etched design within decorative scrollwork reading TYNESIDE DIRECT SUPPLY AERATED WATER COMPANY, the base bearing an impressed mark RD NO 635697. An olive green glass bottle is embossed W. B. REID & CO LTD NEWCASTLE ON TYNE on the shoulder and body, surrounding a central circular crest containing a shield and the Latin motto PRO VIRTUTE. An aqua-tinted bottle features the embossed text CRYSTAL AERATED WATER CO NEWCASTLE. A larger aqua glass bottle is embossed W. M. ELLINGSON & CO NEWCASTLE with the words TRADE MARK and ESTD 1862 flanking a large central X logo. A half-pint aqua bottle bears the embossed inscription 1/2 PINT GEO NICHOLSON HOPE STREET CROOK.
