Lot 349: Eben-Parker Ltd. A Collection of Kings Pattern Silver-Plated Cutlery and Ephemera, 1981

A collection of silver-plated cutlery in the Kings pattern, accompanied by original company ephemera from Eben-Parker Limited of Sheffield. The group includes various table knives, forks, and spoons featuring traditional shell-motif terminals. The knives are constructed with silver-plated handles and stainless steel blades. A typed letter on Eben-Parker Limited letterhead, dated 20th August 1981, is addressed to a Mrs Lowden and discusses price adjustments for Adex and Burlington canteen sets. Also included is a printed brochure slip for E. Greaves & Son of Sheffield, listing their address at Hallam Works, Herries Road, Sheffield. The knife blades bear a printed mark reading Eben-Parker Ltd MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND and are vertically marked STAINLESS STEEL. The company letterhead and brochure feature a circular device depicting a metalworker at an anvil, inscribed HALF PENNY 1864. Many pieces remain in their original clear plastic wrapping secured by coloured rubber bands.
