Lot 5: A late Victorian 9ct gold garnet and seed pearl stick pin in a fitted case by Merron of Blyth circa 1.33g gross

A late Victorian or Edwardian stick pin crafted in 9ct gold with a rose tone. The circular openwork head features a central round faceted red gemstone in a collet setting. This is surrounded by four foliate lobes, each set with a seed pearl, within an outer gold ring. The long straight pin stem is fitted with a removable metal safety clutch. The item is presented in a fitted case with a cream velvet and silk lining. The inner lid is printed with text reading ESTD. 1841 MERRON JEWELLER BLYTH.
