Lot 550: An Assortment of Sony PlayStation and PS one Consoles, Controllers and Games
A collection of Sony video game hardware and software comprising two console units, three controllers, and a library of PAL region game discs. The hardware includes a grey PlayStation console featuring a central circular lid with a multi-coloured logo, and buttons marked I/O, RESET, and a symbol for OPEN. The second unit is a compact white PS one console with a printed PS one logo and SONY wordmark.
Peripherals consist of two original grey digital controllers and one DualShock analog controller with twin thumbsticks. Two memory cards are present: a black unit bearing a white printed label with the word GAMESTER and a blue transparent card with an adhesive yellow label reading Competition Pro for PlayStation. The lot includes a UK 3-pin power adapter and various AV connection leads.
The software library contains approximately 24 titles in PAL format, primarily housed in original jewel cases. Notable titles include G-Police, G-Police: Weapons of Justice, Formula 1 97, Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Rayman, Driver, A Bug’s Life, Colin McRae Rally, Micro Machines V3, V-Rally, Deathtrap Dungeon, Wing Commander III, Broken Sword II, Dancing Stage Party Edition, and Dancing Stage Fever. Also present are Arcade’s Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 2, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Several discs are loose or in replacement cases, including Tekken and Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. One Sega Dreamcast disc for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is included in the group.
