Lot 641: A Tall Optic Ribbed Blue Glass Pedestal Vase

A large hand-blown art glass vase of tall, tapered form. The body features a vertical optic-molded ribbed texture throughout, terminating in a scalloped, fire-polished rim. The vessel is rendered in a translucent turquoise-to-peacock blue hue, with the colour deepening where the glass thickens at the base of the bowl and through the stem. It is supported by a short, waisted stem rising from a wide, circular pedestal foot. The underside of the base is smooth and slightly concave. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or adhesive labels present on the piece.
