Included is a set of ten white-bodied chopsticks, the upper portions decorated with multicoloured floral cloisonne enamel on a gilt ground. They are presented in a fitted box with a green patterned exterior and a white paper label affixed to the interior lid printed with Chinese characters and the handwritten figure 60.00.
The assortment also contains a pair of soapstone carvings in the form of eggs, featuring pierced openwork and carved elephant motifs on circular bases. A green lobed ceramic jar and cover is decorated with hand-painted pink and yellow floral sprays. A further ceramic bowl and cover with a cream glaze is painted in a monochrome palette with Middle Eastern courtyard scenes featuring figures in traditional dress. Completing the collection is an inside-painted glass snuff bottle of flattened globular form, decorated with five cranes amongst pine branches, featuring black calligraphic script and a red seal mark.
