Lot 354: A Trio of Stained Glass Tiffany Style Candle Shades on a Three Light Candelabrum Base

A three-light candelabrum centerpiece designed for tea lights. The piece features a dark-brown patinated cast metal base and branching arms, decorated with foliate and scrollwork motifs. The base is of circular form with a splayed foot cast with a radial leaf pattern.

The three flared shades are constructed using the copper foil technique. Each shade is decorated with a repeating pattern of stylized floral motifs, including red and blue petals and green leaves, interspersed with amber-coloured glass cabochons. These elements are set against a cream-coloured slag glass background. The leading is finished with a dark patina. Each shade contains a central black metal cup designed to hold a standard tea light or small candle. An adhesive warning label is present on the interior of one candle cup, although the text is not fully legible.
