Lot 358: Two Mason's Ironstone Touraine Pattern Ceramics for Liberty London

A two-piece ceramic lot comprising an ironstone ginger jar with lid and a pitcher. The globular ginger jar features a domed lid, while the faceted, pear-shaped pitcher is designed with a flared, scalloped rim and a scrolled handle. Both items are decorated with a transfer-printed floral pattern consisting of pink and cream blooms, magenta flowers, green foliage, and sprigs of buds, set against a background of faint blue horizontal and diagonal bands. The base of each piece bears a printed blue backstamp featuring a central crest topped with a crown. The text reads Mason’s Ironstone, Made in England, LIBERTY LONDON, and TOURAINE Design copyright 1989. The ginger jar base includes a stamped number 15 and the pitcher base includes a stamped number 19.
