Lot 361: A Trio of Blue Canyon Ceramic Animal Figures

This three-piece collection of glazed pottery comprises two swan-form planters and a dolphin figurine leaping over a wave base. Each piece is finished in a multi-tonal drip glaze, featuring a palette of deep forest green and teal with high-gloss black accents. The swans are designed with open backs for use as planters, with the glaze transitioning from dark tones at the neck to mottled teal on the wings. The dolphin figurine is finished in black across the dorsal area, with the underside and stylized wave base rendered in the matching green and teal drip glaze. An incised mark is present on the underside of one swan, consisting of two lines reading Blue Canyon.
