Lot 360: A Collection of Enamelled Bohemian Glassware and a Hand Painted French Ceramic Plate
A collection of decorative glassware and ceramics comprising an octagonal earthenware plate and five pieces of enamelled glass. The plate features a hand-painted floral design with a central spray of orange, blue, and yellow blooms, bordered by foliate scrolls within concentric blue bands. The reverse of the plate bears a handwritten inscription in black reading Decor Rouen fait main above a small heart-shaped symbol.
The glassware includes a tall footed vase in amethyst glass with a flared rim and multi-knop clear glass stem, featuring heavy gold gilt scrollwork and hand-painted flowers. A red glass vase of flared form is decorated with pink and white floral motifs and thick gold gilt bands. A cobalt blue ovoid vase is embellished with a pink floral cartouche and elaborate gilt scrollwork. The collection is completed by a pair of goblets with bowls transitioning from cranberry to clear, decorated with green foliage and white flowers. These goblets feature etched gold gilt rims with a cross-hatch pattern and white beaded borders, set upon amber-toned glass stems and bases.
