The piece is decorated with a vibrant, variegated swirl pattern comprising bands of orange, amber, yellow, and charcoal grey, interspersed with thinner white and pale blue lines. The vase is crafted using a multi-coloured cane or frit technique to create horizontal and diagonal banding. The interior repeats the exterior colour palette, with the flared rim displaying a concentrated swirl of blue, yellow, and orange tones. The surface has a smooth, polished finish. The underside of the base bears an incised signature reading Monna 80.
