Lot 388: A pair of amber glass visage vases

A pair of graduated amber-coloured glass vases featuring a minimalist stylized human face motif. Each vessel is constructed of transparent topaz-toned glass, possibly mold-blown, formed into an elongated ovoid shape. The design incorporates a continuous raised ridge that defines a combined brow and long, straight nasal line, creating an anthropomorphic visage. The vases taper slightly toward the circular rims and terminate in weighted, solid glass flared bases. The undersides of the bases are smooth with a slight central concavity, showing no legible maker marks, signatures, or adhesive labels.
